Fortune CP Ltd a UK based company is to supply solar products to 8 ADF (African Development Fund) Secondary School projects in Malawi (Southern Africa). The new schools are being built in rural areas where there is no electricity grid. Installation of the equipment will be carried out by Government qualified contractors. It is envisaged that the projects will be beneficial to the rural communities as electricity will now be available.
This is the second time Fortune CP is supplying solar products to such projects. In 2005 the company supplied goods to 10 school projects in the same country. It has also been supplying equipment for rural hospitals, irrigation projects and village electrification projects in other countries such as Mozambique, Botswana, SierraLeone, Ghana and others
